Open studio days

Four times a year we open the kiln in front of whoever turns up, put the kettle on and sell the new pieces first to the people in the room.

  • Autumn kiln opening

The kiln opens at 11:00 on Saturday. Throwing demonstrations every hour, seconds at half price.

  • Winter market

Mulled apple juice, small gifts, and the last chance to order for Christmas.

  • Spring kiln opening

New glazes from the winter tests, and a free ten-minute go on the wheel.

Questions about visiting

Can I watch you throw?

Most Thursdays and Fridays someone is at the wheel, and you're welcome to watch from the shop.

Can I reserve a piece and collect it?

Yes. Buy it online and choose collection, or email us and we'll keep it for a week.

Do you sell seconds?

On open studio days, at half price: pieces with a glaze run or a small blemish, perfectly usable.
