Tuesdays at 18:30, courses start every seven weeks

Six weeks is about how long it takes for the wheel to start behaving. Each evening starts with a short demonstration and then it’s your wheel, your clay and as much help as you want.

In week four we trim everything you’ve made, and in week six you glaze it. The final firing is the week after, and we open the kiln together.

An evening pottery class: students at a row of wheels around a teacher, lamps lit and dusk in the windows

  • A pair of mugs with handles
  • Up to 12 kg of fired pieces

What's included

  • Studio time on Thursday afternoons

Questions

What if I miss an evening?

Come to the open studio on Thursday afternoon that week instead, and we'll catch you up.

Can I do it twice?

Lots of people do. The second time you choose what to work on.
