Platters are thrown flat on a bat and dried for a week under plastic so they don’t warp. The rim was dipped in tenmoku first and wiped back with a sponge, which leaves the soft edge where the two glazes meet.
Looking after it
Dishwasher safe. Oven safe up to 200°C, from cold.
